There is no words to describe how happy I am today. I still do not fully realize what has just happened. I went into Mr Segal’s office for a consultation on my removal proceedings case, it was the beginning of 2017, I was recently married and very nervous about starting the process to become a legal resident for fear of deportation. I came with my case to attorney Segal after another attorney ruined my asylum case and I was about to be deported. He is a very knowledgeable straight forward person who told me right away that my chances are slim to none. He didn't sugar coat anything. He told me that the process will be long, exhausting, and expensive with a slim chance for success. He sent me home to think about it. One week later I decided to proceed with the case. I was very afraid to return to my county and was on the verge of being deported with what appeared to be a hopeless case.
